90 miles from the Bay Area, Eldorado and Placer Counties is renowned for its rolling hills and picturesque

swimming and other water sports.

Town Center as well as quaint shops in Historic Old Town Folsom. Neighboring towns include Granite Bay,

Farmers Markets

Farmer’s Markets with local fruits, vegetables, baked goods, wines, beers, meats and fish and art and crafts. Historic Folsom with historic shops and restaurant buildings offers Saturday Farmer Markets with over 40 vendors. El Dorado Town Center offers Sunday Farmers Market with its stores and restaurants and is a popular destination. There are other local cities that offer weekend Farmers Markets. Placer County is minutes away and has the Placer Grown Farmers Markets.  These Farmers Market take place every Saturday and Sunday in several cities throughout the counties.

Transportation

Folsom and El Dorado Hills are linked to Sacramento via Hwy 50. It is an easy drive in with a traffic “HOUR” in the morning and one in the evening. Usually traffic flows well most of the time. The 507 GOLD LINE Train links Folsom and Sacramento with stops along the way. It’s an easy commute into the city without having to take your eyes off your book or cell phone. Also, there is Ride hailing with Lyft and Uber.
